State Department of Agriculture Representatives Visit Sweet Potato Country

On Monday, October 1st a delegation from the Mississippi Department of Agriculture, Mississippi State University, the Calhoun City Monitor-Herald, and Coopwood Communications, joined Benny Graves and Randle Wright at N & W Farms for a tour of local Sweet Potato packing operations and Williams Farms to see the harvesting process first hand. The group also visited Alexander Packing Company before completing their tour at the Sweet Potato Sweets shop in Vardaman.
